Quaint little local cafe hidden behind a bike shop. Street tables for the sunny days and plenty of room inside with plants can you even buy. Maybe more choices on the menu would be ideal

I come into this cosy cafe each week for a coffee. They have yummy home baked slices too. I tried a roll for lunch this week, the filling was generous and delicious.

Was just looking for a cafe to have coffee and some quiet time. Went to this charming cafe. From the front it looks closed (no one inside even behind the counter) but the entry is actually on the side street where the outdoor seatings are. This place is very unique, it has like 4 areas that all look very different from one another. The outdoor area looks modern and simple, inside is very green where the real counter is, lots of plants and hip music. Next to it is a dimmed room with older feel like a fancy older hotel feel. Next to it (which faces the Victoria Street is a vintage looking bar/cafe with a counter that they didnt use. So you can pick which vibe you want! Staff are very friendly. Had their mocha, it was ok, slightly bitter. But such a charming place, would love to take friends here!

Little Ezida is a cosy local café on Victoria Street with a homely, earthy vibe. I only tried the chicken sandwiches — one hot gravy roll and one coleslaw/mayo salad roll. The food was decent: nothing mind-blowing, but the chicken was juicy and moist, cooked well, and made for a solid, easy lunch. The bread was fresh too, which is important given all the strong banh mi competition along the strip. The gravy roll had a lighter-style gravy that worked fine, though once it soaked through the bread you really just had to commit and smash it down before it got messy. Only downside was the wait — about 10–15 minutes for two sandwiches, which felt a bit long, but at least you know it’s being prepared fresh. Service was warm and friendly, and I’d be keen to come back and explore some of the breakfast options next time.

4/11/24 Great, cozy little gem! I had one of the best omelets ever, and the house-made salad is to die for! 11/01/25 Update: Still the best omelet and salad I’ve ever had! Unfortunately, I live in NSW, but I visit Melbourne quite often and never miss the chance to have brekkie here. Highly recommend!

#1 coffee! Always hot but never stinking hot always get great strength. I hate milky coffee and I’ve never had that here. My sister likes milky coffee and they did exactly what she asked for. And they put milk aside so she could doctor it for her. Thank you so much! Best coffee ever!

I’ve been coming here for several years and couldn’t speak more highly of the crew and the atmosphere. I’m always taken care of, every visit. While the economy keeps changing, the value and quality here haven’t; still absolutely worth it. Thanks, team!
